The story is the design. And the design will tell that story… of MARC O’POLO Pure. The PURE collection was designed as an ode to contemporary design and Nordic femininity. In 2014 I developed the Brand Identity Design of MARC O’POLO PURE. For the visual communication concept I chose a reduced colour scheme to underline female independence and the purity of the stylistics. From the logo to the signature elements for the Brand Identity I defined all features, was involved in the cross-channel content production and oversaw the art direction.

Natural, Simplicity, Quality, Personality, Innovation. First impressions – before we know, how they feel, how they sound, how they smell. I directed this first impressions for the Brand Identity of MARC O’POLO. It was a pleasure. These moods give an idea for the various MARC O’POLO projects I have been working on. In 2013 I developed the Brand Icon and definded the Brand Identity Design in creative ping pong with Buero New York. From 2013 to 2019 I directed the Visual Identity for MARC O’POLO, its constant development online, offline and cross channel supported by an extraordinary creative services team, many unique designers, photographers, models, illustrators, producers and texters.

MARC O’POLO Denim – an amazing design playground for me. What I wanted, was to create a smart and easy look for the young Brand. In 2015 I evolved the Brand Identity Design of MARC O’POLO DENIM – I designed the logo and the straightforward icon, added a functional typeface, definded a dark denim blue, invented the collage look and mashed it all up. From 2015 to 2019 I signed responsible for the visual 360º communication and campaign concepts and was directing the creative content production in cooperation with the creative services team and many fresh and easy talents.

Every dialect has its own terms, every language its own rules, design its own expressions. MARC O’POLO CHN – Brand Identity Design. Developing a Design Identity in a different language for a culture with its own visual understanding was one of the most challenging yet most inspiring tasks for me. In 2017 I worked in Shanghai and we set up a design concept for MARC O’POLOs Chinese market. In cooperation with Agency ASK I had the chance for a deep dive into intercultural design. Nǐ hǎo!

50 År, cheers! In 2017 MARC O’POLO celebrated its 50th anniversary and dedication to the certain twist to make things special. For this year of festivities and reflection I designed a Visual Identity Concept in cooperation with Thorsten Grimm, that was played 360° in communications and marketing. The year peaked in a corporate anniversary event I directed in terms of look and design and which I curated a related exhibition for.

“I feel like a MARC O’POLO MR. – I‘m unique and I‘m me.“ Jack Guinness  Design is about creating emotions, inventing new worlds, working with both promises and desires. In 2015 I developed the Brand Identity Design for MARC O’POLO MR. in exchange with Buero New York. Our aim was to create a design language mirroring tailor-made styles, quality and refinement. From 2015 to 2017 I directed the Visual Identity for the Menswear Brand, its constant development online, offline and cross channel.
